5 Tips For New Year Resolution Success

5 Tips For New Year Resolution Success

2018 is here, and another new year always brings New Year Resolutions. Whether it’s to save money, lose weight, travel more, start a business or even to buy more makeup *guilty* we guarantee you’ve thought about something you’d like to achieve this year? Good for you!

The sad truth is, not many of us end the year with that great feeling of success. In fact, only 8% of people actually stick to their resolutions - oops! We want to change that, so we’ve got some tips to ensure 2018 is the year you actually stick to your goal!

Choose 1 main goal

Chances of success are much greater when you put all your energy into one goal! Put all your focus into it, and imagine how great you’ll feel know you achieve it. You go, girl!

Don’t run with the crowds

Just because your BFF wants to lose weight, doesn’t mean you have to. Think about what YOU really want to get out of 2018.

Set small milestones

Break your goal down into smaller steps, rather than one huge end result. You’ll feel less daunted, and appreciate the small steps of success along the way.

Don’t fall at the first hurdle

Reality is, reaching a goal is never plain sailing. One reason resolutions are not always achieved is because we quit and give up at the first hurdle. Instead, learn from mistakes, and carry on - you’ll be glad you did in 12 months time.

Tell your friends and family

Getting support from those closest to you will really help motivate you, and help avoid failure. They may even have the same goal, so you can go on the journey together!

We’d love to know what you want to achieve this year! Here's some beauty resolutions we're aiming for!
